Looking at my blog stats last night I found out that there are a lot of searches for the keyword “Vintage design” here. Looks like vintage is in, but what makes a vintage style website design – vintage? I went searching, looking at various collection lists of vintage websites like this one and this one. While walking toward the register last night at a Holywood Video I saw they had a stand with candy bars, which were Hersheys chocolattes. The wrappers were designed to look vintage, like they had them in 1950s and 60s. I looked at them trying to figure out what it was that gave them this look and here are two more elements that we can add to the list above.
