I came across Chop Shop’s website today and was pleased with what I saw. It has a sort of retro look in portions of the home page which is something I enjoy. It also has some nice, not overpowering Flash elements incorporated into the header. It’s busy…but not too busy. Even with the Flash elements, the navigation is still clear and easy to use. I also enjoyed playing around with the backgrounds for the site too. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you’ll find that you are able to use 4 different wooden backgrounds. My personal favorite is the second one which features a darker, weathered looking wooden background.

In all, Chop Shop has some nice features incorporated into its homepage that can provide some good inspiration for future projects.
